Throughout the majority of my childhood I struggled to get and keep friends. Who knows why but I did. I left school and got more and more involved with Church. Not to blow my own trumpet but God's given me so many friends that I have trouble making time for all of them. What a testimony to God's awesome plans for not just me, but all of us!
Now generally speaking, having lots of friends gives you confidence and a sense of self worth. But what happens when those friends disappear? Does your confidence also disappear? I guess you have to ask yourself where your self-worth comes from. Ideally it should be from God. That way, no matter what happens to you here on earth, you still KNOW without a shadow of a doubt, that you are precious in the eyes of the only one who really matters, God.
If you choose to put your worth in your ministry, or business, or partner - when they fall through, you fall apart. Life's not worth living all of a sudden.
Is it possible to put our worth entirely in God?
